Alex studied for both his degree and diploma at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff where he recently also passed his part III exam to qualify as an architect.

Since he has moved from his native city, Bucharest, he has lived in Cardiff, London and The Hague, studying and working in different practices.

His main experience is on housing projects, having worked on small and medium size proposals. In The Hague he has taken part in some exciting projects across the Netherlands.

He is passionate about both the creative and technological aspect of architecture, his dissertation being on new methodologies for seismic retrofitting of Romanian heritage buildings.

In his free time he likes playing tennis, cycling, climbing or meeting his friends. The seaside is his favourite place and he hasn’t yet missed a single summer on the beach.
